The Long Range will use the same 75kWh usable battery pack also found in the Performance variant, but will have less punch than the flagship. Starting from $81,900 before on-road costs, the dual-motor Tesla Model Y Long Range has a claimed WLTP driving range of 533km – up 19km from the 514km of range for the existing Performance model and 78km up from the entry-level rear-drive. Tesla Australia has today dropped pricing for a new Long Range variant of the Model Y onto its local website.
